Kyla graduated from Langara College in August 2022. Kyla works to create an inclusive and non-judgemental treatment environment, where the patient and massage therapist can work together to create an effective, collaborative treatment plan. Her approach to massage therapy is simple: she aims to alleviate stress and tension from the body and values meaningful connection with her patients. She recognizes that touch can be a powerful tool in alleviating pain and discomfort, and she values communication and consent as the foundations of treatment. She hopes to build a therapeutic alliance with her patients, where they feel safe and supported by their practitioner. Kyla uses a range of Swedish techniques, myofascial release, Trigger Point therapy and Joint Mobilizations.
