Parris has been practicing East Asian Medicine for over 10years. She often functions as a Primary Care physician for those in her care and specializes in Internal Medicine. Parris has advanced training in Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Neurological Imbalance and Digestive Disturbance. Over the past 2 years, Parris has excelled in working with the elder population in reducing and managing frequent urination and incontinence. More specifically, Parris works with fertility, menstrual pain, PMS/PMDD and menopause. She is passionate about postpartum health as well as breastfeeding and supporting mothers in introducing food to their babies. When children are in her care, Parris uses a variety of East Asian Medicine modalities to harmonize and support the growth of children and teens. Finally, Parris is passionate about working with people who have been diagnosed with Western Medical imbalance such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Chron’s, IBS, Thyroid imbalance and Neuropathy. Autoimmune disease highlights the most interesting parts of East Asian Medicine and can bring long term management, relief and perspective to the daily lived experience of these individuals.
