Shelby is a Registered Acupuncturist with a passion for movement science and holistic care. Her path to acupuncture started with an interest in movement. She graduated from the University of British Columbia Okanagan in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Human Kinetics, where she developed a strong foundation of understanding biomechanics, rehabilitation, and human performance. In 2025, Shelby graduated Cum Laude from the Acupuncture program at Pacific Rim College, where she further refined her understanding for the body’s innate ability to heal when properly supported. Shelby brings a nuanced understanding of biomechanics, nervous system regulation, and the mind–body connection into her clinical practice. This integrated perspective allows her to approach treatment with both clinical precision and intuitive, patient-centred care. Shelby’s approach blends Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern movement principles to support pain relief, recovery, nervous system regulation, and overall performance. She is especially passionate about helping active individuals and athletes feel more connected, resilient, and confident in their bodies, on and off the treatment table. Outside of the clinic, you’ll find Shelby running around Beacon Hill Park, attending yoga classes, lifting weights, or experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes.
