Josh employs an active treatment style using a variety of techniques, primarily Neurokinetic Therapy and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization to help achieve your goals. During his sessions, he focuses on helping increase body awareness and stability while alleviating discomfort by treating dysfunctional compensation patterns. Josh believes in the power of corrective movement to help resolve pain, and has based his practice around it. Throughout treatment, he will assess and reassess specific movements in multiple areas around the body to assist him in identifying the root cause of your pain, allowing him to treat the source of the pain rather than just chasing symptoms. If you are coming in for a more active treatment, Josh recommends his clients to bring athletic style clothing that allows for unrestricted body movement (shorts, shirts, sports bras, etc.). Some specific conditions Josh is experienced in treating: •Referral pain (sciatica, headaches, numbness/tingling sensations, etc.) •Scars/fascial restrictions •Mobility restrictions •Muscle awareness/weakness/dysfunction •Abdominal control/breathing/strengthening •Concussion symptoms/eye pain/vertigo •Acute injuries, sprains/strains •TMJ dysfunction
