Meet Josh Weed, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Josh completed his Diploma in Massage Therapy from Camosun College. His education at Camosun gave him a a solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, and hands-on massage techniques, but Josh’s true growth has come through experience, namely self-reflection and listening to feedback from clients. Everyone teaches us something, and Josh is keen to listen, to reflect and to evolve in his practice. The most rewarding part of Josh’s work is seeing transformation. It’s not just about relieving pain — it’s about helping people feel more connected to their bodies. He loves seeing clients walk out with a new understanding of how their body works, or realizing something about themselves they hadn’t before. Those “aha” moments make the work feel deeply worthwhile. Patience, open-mindedness, and respect are Josh’s guiding values. True healing isn’t rushed — it’s a process that unfolds at its own pace. Josh doesn’t see his role as controlling that process but as supporting it. He aims to meet clients where they are, offering thoughtful care that empowers them to feel more connected, more grounded, and more in tune with themselves.
