Hi there! I am a registered physiotherapist and graduate from the University of Toronto’s MScPT program. I am so excited to be returning to the city of my alma mater as a part of the Resilience Physiotherapy team! I became interested in a career as a physiotherapist during my undergraduate studies, whilst volunteering for a mental health counselling service. It was at this time that I came to understand the huge link between emotional, mental, and physical well-being. As such, I value a holistic physiotherapy treatment style that not only includes a combination of treatment techniques, but takes into account my client’s circumstances, goals, and priorities. My physiotherapy interests include chronic low back pain, shoulder injuries, and post-hip/knee replacement. I have taken courses with the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal physiotherapy program including Level 2 Lower, and will be taking Level 2 Upper in the fall. I also have training in vestibular physiotherapy via the course Mastering BPPV, BVL and UVL. I consider myself a life-long learner and am so excited to take more courses in the coming years, including dry needling, acupuncture and pelvic health. Outside of the clinic I like to spend my time jogging, bullet journalling, or playing the piano. I’m also a big foodie, and am always looking for new cafe and restaurant recommendations!
