Hello! My name is Dr. Layne Broeckel. I grew up on my family’s farm near Star City, Saskatchewan, where an early appreciation for hard work, movement, and the outdoors shaped my approach to health and performance. I played a wide range of sports growing up, but hockey was my main passion and sparked my interest in how the body moves, adapts, and performs under physical demands. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan before earning my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Bloomington, Minnesota. Throughout my education, I developed a strong clinical interest in helping active individuals move better, recover faster, and perform at a higher level—whether in the gym, in sport, or in everyday life. Outside the clinic, I enjoy traveling back to Star City to help on the farm, staying active with pickleball and golf, and spending time outdoors. You’ll often find me walking along the river in Saskatoon or watching just about any sporting event. I value balance, consistency, and longevity, and I bring those same principles into the care I provide at E3 Chiropractic.
