Dr Lisa Kril initially trained as a registered veterinary technician (2014), prior to graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College (2021). Dr Lisa has worked as a feline vet, an emergency vet, and an acupuncture/rehabilitation vet. Dr Lisa is experienced; having treated many pets with acupuncture and helping many families lay their pets to rest. Her emergency background makes her calm and collected, and her vast experience helps her create effective acupuncture plans and charm nervous pets. In her time in the veterinary field, Dr Lisa’s heart has been captured by the grey muzzles and pets needing extra care. Solace Veterinary Care was born from her desire to help pets navigate their golden years and mobility struggles at all ages - all while reducing the stress of the clinic. At home Dr. Lisa spends her time tending to her garden, dabbling in the creative arts and caring for her menagerie which currently includes cats, chickens and one very special small dog. Dr. Lisa hopes to bring the same love, care and dedication she devotes to her own furry family to help others.
Initial Veterinary Acupuncture Assessment and Treatment Our initial acupuncture session includes a full physical examination, medical record review and initial treatment session. Prior to this session your medical records will be requested from your family vet to ensure continuity of care.
