Kathy Drysdale Physiotherapy

5563 L & A Rd, Vernon, BC, V1B 3P7

Kathy graduated from McMaster University in 2002 with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, she also received a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Health Physiology in 1999. Since graduating, Kathy has worked in private physiotherapy clinics helping clients return to function and improve performance. Over the past 16 years Kathy has had the opportunity to continue her post graduate studies, she is a Level 3 Manual therapist, and has obtained her certification for Acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. In early 2017 she completed the series of courses in The Integrated Systems Model which provides a framework for whole body assessment and an integrated approach to treatment. Using this wholistic approach allows Kathy to find the true root of the injury and empowers the client to become an active participant in their recovery. Kathy is passionate about helping her clients achieve their goals, and works toward this through education, compassion, and an individualized treatment plan. She enjoys working with all kinds of clients and has an extensive background in sports. Kathy believes strongly in an active approach to rehabilitation and wants to foster a lifetime of wellness. Outside of physiotherapy Kathy enjoys getting outside in the beautiful Okanagan. In the summer she likes to bike, hike and garden, and in the winter you will find her on the mountain: skiing, cross country skiing and snow shoeing.
