Mao completed her BKin at the University of British Columbia and obtained her BSc in Athletic Therapy from the University of Winnipeg. She has been a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2022. Mao worked with Trinity Western University Women’s Soccer and Women’s Hockey teams in 2021-2023, and Unity FC in 2023. Mao enjoys outdoor activities such as running, kayaking and spike ball. She speaks fluent English and Japanese. Mao specializes in chronic injuries of the upper and lower extremities. She believes that finding out and treating the cause of the issue is the most important in effective patient treatment.
