Rachel completed her kinesiology degree at Western University and then went on to complete her Master of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland in Australia. During her time abroad, she was trained using various treatment techniques, such as joint mobilization, soft tissue release, and exercise prescription as tools for rehabilitation and recovery. Since graduating she has taken additional courses on acupuncture, dry needling, and concussion management. As a clinician, Rachel really enjoys getting to know each and every one of her clients. She endeavours to understand the root cause of an injury and then centre her treatment around helping patients achieve their goals. Her treatment style includes various manual therapy techniques and she likes to incorporate movement into her treatment plans. Within her treatment plan, there is always a focus on injury prevention and building resilience in the body. Rachel strongly believes that movement is the best medicine!
