Myriam is an Orthopedic Physiotherapist dedicated to empowering her clients toward healthier lives. With a firm belief in the power of education within physiotherapy, she strives to instill independence and confidence in her clients, enabling them to resume their favorite activities. Myriam earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Université de Moncton before completing her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2021. Commencing her career at a private clinic in Cap-Pelé, she spent two years treating a diverse range of orthopedic conditions, including fractures, sprains, and chronic low back pain. Continuing her professional development post-graduation, Myriam pursued various courses, with a focus on shoulder, low back, and neck pain management. She is also certified in treating concussions and vestibular disorders, such as vertigo. At Reconnect Health Center, Myriam specializes in addressing orthopedic concerns, offering expertise in neck pain, thumb or forearm pain, thoracic/mid-back pain, rib pain, pelvic girdle pain, or any other orthopedic conditions related to pregnancy or the postpartum period. She will also be able to help you with tailbone discomfort, mastitis, birth preparation, osteoporosis, and more. Beyond her professional pursuits, Myriam cherishes spending time with her son and partner. She finds solace in outdoor activities like hiking and running, alongside her passions for Ultimate Frisbee, cooking, and reading.
