Tracey is the owner of Elemental Therapy Spa and believes strongly that the journey to wholeness is both a personal process and one that is best completed using the most elemental forces of nature including touch. She and has been practicing medical massage therapy since her graduation from Blue Heron Academy in 2006. She is both licensed with the State of Michigan and Nationally Board Certified. She also holds an education degree from Grand Valley State University and has experience in the nursing field and outdoor education. She offers deep tissue medical massage that has been tempered with aspects of relaxation massage to provide the best of both techniques. She incorporates passive stretching, energy work and aromatherapy into her sessions. She has continuing education credits in nutrition, fermented foods, kinesiotaping, herbalism, and experiential outdoor therapies. Because of her diverse educational background, Tracey is able to adapt her massage treatments to people in all walks of life. She has experience working with the elderly, expectant mothers, children- especially preteens and those with autism and those with special needs such as MS and head injuries.
