Originally from St. John’s, Ashley graduated with honours from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. Since then, she has been a dedicated member of the ProActive team, working primarily out of the East End location for over 15 years. Ashley takes an active approach to physiotherapy management, believing that movement is a key component of recovery and long-term health. She has training in Dry Needling, acupuncture and soft tissue techniques, and is a certified Level 2 Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapist with the Canadian Orthopaedic Division. She has also completed Parts A through D of The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), further enhancing her ability to assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions. Outside the clinic, Ashley enjoys being active, spending time with her family, and spending as much time as she can at their cabin.
