Dr. Henley was born and raised in Longlac until the age of 14, when he moved to Thunder Bay to play a higher level of hockey. Growing up, hockey was an important part of his life. Throughout Rylan’s hockey career he would get his injuries treated with chiropractic care and this influenced his decision to pursue a career in chiropractic. Dr. Henley received a scholarship to play NCAA hockey at Concordia College in Minnesota, which is where he completed a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Exercise Science and a Minor in Biology. Following these 4 years, he attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where he completed 4 years of chiropractic schooling. Rylan’s current interests include coaching hockey (has coached at the AAA and Jr. A level), golf, fishing, training for triathlons and spending time with his young family. Dr. Henley also spends time keeping up to date with the most current chiropractic research. Dr. Henley offers chiropractic services such as spinal manipulative therapy (adjustments), soft tissue therapy/manual release therapy, nutrition advice, rehab/prehab and patient education amongst other techniques. He is also certified in Clinical Acupuncture and has his Level 2 Medical TPI Golf Certification.
