Dorothy studied at Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Toronto. In the early part of her career, she had worked in corporate offices, but soon realized that she preferred direct hands-on work with clients. Dorothy thinks that the body has the capacity to heal with proper nurture and treatment. That’s why she values Massage Therapy as an option for or as a complement to a client’s health care – it has numerous benefits for many health conditions. Dorothy uses integrative therapeutic techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial release cupping, trigger point therapy, Fascia stretch therapy, Indie head massage and stress reduction techniques to help clients to resolve their pain and body discomfort. When she’s not taking care of humans, Dorothy enjoys gardening and traveling with her husband Dr. Ronnie Chan.

Deep-TissueRelaxationSwedish

This 60 mins massage therapy session is the most popular patient-selected treatment. This session combines therapeutic massage and relaxation massage to help patients to reduce muscles tension and joint discomfort, break up tissue adhesions, increase blood circulation, improve range of motion of your joints, and to reduce sympathetic nervous system firing which might have a positive impact relating to stress and anxiety, promote deeper relaxation and improve overall well-being. Whether you want a full body relaxation and overall muscles maintenance massage, or to address localized pain or muscles tension, it is a suitable session for you to pick. All sessions include a short consultation and assessment to identify areas of concern to tailor to your specific needs.
