Joel is one of the owners of Richmond Physiotherapy & Massage and one of our physiotherapists. He graduated in 2002 from McMaster University as part of the first Masters of Science in Physiotherapy class in Canada. Joel uses various assessment and treatment techniques including manual therapy, acupuncture, trigger point dry needling, soft tissue release, electro-modalities and exercise prescription to help his patients with all types of musculoskeletal conditions including strains, sprains, fractures, etc. He also has a special interest in treating hand and forearm injuries. Joel is passionate about helping his patients get back to the activities and hobbies that they love. Outside of the clinic, Joel can be found spending time with his family, or coaching and playing hockey, lacrosse, rugby, baseball, ringette, soccer, basketball and skiing.
