Ten years ago I was involved in a motor vehicle accident. My chiropractor recommended massage. I was so impressed with my recovery and how it helped my running and cross country skiing pursuits I had to become a practitioner. The question was when. When the economy sank and jobs dried up in the IT Industry I decided to take the plunge and enrolled at the University of Western States, attaining my certificate in June of 2013. I have worked in several chiropractic clinics since perfecting my technique working with motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, sports related injuries, and performing general relaxation massage. My background includes a deep interest in sports and nutrition, I have currently completed seven marathons and many ski marathons. With such an activity level I had to become well versed in eating well and using massage as a key component in my self care. I have taken continuing education classes in Structural Integration which combines breathwork along with resistive motion to decrease pain and gain range of motion. I also have taken classes in RockTape kinesio taping. I always start where the client is. My technique is a combination of Swedish, Trigger Point, and Deep Tissue. A session with me will include a total focus on you! Book an appointment with me and you will not be disappointed. I love what I do and it gives me so much joy to see clients get reief from their pain! Good luck in life and I look forward to hearing from you.
Select this if you do not get regular massage or if you know you are overly tight. I will use a comibination of massage techniques, along with dynamic and static cupping (using silicone cups) and gua sha to loosen tight tissue so you receive the best possible massage with the best possible benefit.
