Massage
Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle maneuver that directs or re-routes fluid to reduce swelling from lymphectomy, damage or radiation. The Lymphatic system removes cell debris, protein, toxins, cancer cells, and viruses. MLD moves the lymphatic load 30-60 times faster than the body can on its own. If swelling persists, Complete Decogestive Therapy may be needed. Myofascial Release is used for Axillary Web Syndrome and Capsularization from reconstruction during this session.
