Physiotherapist Pelvic Health & Orthopeadic Rehab Dry Needling / Acupuncture Kat is an Orthopaedic Physiotherapist with a specialization in Pelvic Health. Originally from the east coast, Kat embraces her maritime roots and before finding her true passion as a Physiotherapist, Kat completed her education and worked as a marine biologist. Kat completed her Masters degree in Physiotherapy here in London at Western University. She loves to work with a broad variety of patients and feels the diversity of her experiences and treatment approaches is a true strength in her practice. As a diverse athlete herself, Kat finds rehabilitating sports injuries particularly interesting; however, she has developed an affinity for working with both pelvic health and chronic pain clientele. Regardless of the injury-type, Kat offers an informed, multidimensional and personalized approach to recovery. Her techniques can include functional exercise rehab, dry needling, acupuncture, modalities, taping, education, empowerment, and lifestyle modification. Her passion and curiosity drive her to continually grow her skills and knowledge base, ensuring that her clients receive the best quality evidence based care. Outside the clinic, Kat is equally passionate about her hobbies. If you catch her on the ocean she might be sailing, windsurfing or scuba diving, but here in Ontario she’s an avid rock climber and ultimate Frisbee player with a love of traveling and the outdoors. She also likes to dabble in a diverse array of music, dance, art, cooking, gardening and games.
