Sophie-Anne graduated from a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa, where she also obtained her bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics. Sophie-Anne believes in offering one-on-one physiotherapy services in order to provide the best quality of care. This is done through a combination of education, manual therapy and specific therapeutic exercises, which she believes are the key factors in regaining full potential. Her continuing education courses include: -Motivational Interviewing -Manual therapy Level 1 - CPA Orthopaedic Division -MDT McKenzie Method Part A Sophie-Anne has a particular interest in pelvic floor dysfunctions such as pelvic pain, pre-natal and post-partum issues, diastasis recti, urinary incontinence in both men and women, and much more. She has taken many courses to help her patients empower themselves and reach their highest functioning level. These courses include: Holistic Treatment of the Pregnant Body Holistic Treatment of the Postpartum Body Paediatric Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Innovative Exercise for the Sensitive Nervous System Female and Male Pelvic Pain Level II/III Incontinence Level 1 Trauma and the pelvic floor In her spare time, Sophie-Anne loves outdoors activities such as hiking, cross-country skiing and camping.
