Dr. Natalia Medero is a licensed and board-certified Acupuncture Physician and Diplomate of Chinese Medicine. She earned her Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Bridgeport and holds national board certification through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Raised in a family with deep agricultural roots, Natalia developed an early appreciation for natural healing. Inspired by her grandmother’s belief in “kitchen healthcare,” she learned the value of food, herbs, and natural remedies as essential tools for maintaining health and vitality. She is also a proud mother of a son who practices as a Neurophysiologist in Boston, Massachusetts. Natalia’s passion for Chinese medicine began more than 20 years ago after she sustained significant neck and back injuries in a motor vehicle accident. Upon the recommendation of her primary care physician, she underwent treatment with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine and experienced remarkable pain relief and recovery. This transformative experience inspired her to pursue a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine and dedicate herself to helping others achieve similar results. She has a particular interest in using acupuncture as a conservative, first-line approach to care, helping patients reduce pain, improve function, and potentially avoid surgery when possible. For those who do require surgery, she incorporates acupuncture to support recovery, manage pain, and promote post-operative healing. Furthering her clinical education, Natalia completed advanced training and an internship at the Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shenyang, China. Her areas of expertise include orthopedic pain management, women’s health, fertility support, psychosomatic disorders, cosmetic acupuncture and digestive disorders. Natalia believes that every patient is unique and develops individualized treatment plans designed to restore balance, encourage healing, and support long-term wellness. She values the holistic principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which view the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected aspects of health. Outside of the clinic, Natalia enjoys cooking, traveling, staying active, reading, and making time for self-care. She is passionate about helping her patients reconnect with their bodies, improve their quality of life, and achieve lasting wellness through natural medicine.
