Steph grew up on the west coast just outside of Vancouver and from a very young age has been extremely active. From playing soccer, softball and volleyball, she has always been intrigued by how much the body is capable of. While attending University of Waterloo for her BSc in Kinesiology she worked in the gym and continued to grow her love for movement through volleyball and weightlifting. Since pursuing her Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology she has always wanted something to combine hands-on manual practice and exercise to help people, which has led to Massage Therapy becoming the perfect career for her. While attending Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy she fell in love with teaching the material to her fellow classmates and has since become a sessional faculty member. She hopes to help integrate her passion for movement and massage into her treatments and help patients understand the root cause.
