Carolina completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in the United States, where she was a student-athlete playing competitive volleyball. Her journey in physiotherapy began in 2011 in her home country of Brazil, where she shadowed and assisted experienced physiotherapists working with masters athletes. During her time at Dalhousie, Carolina gained extensive clinical experience across various settings. Upon completing her Master’s degree, she was honoured with both the National Orthopaedic Division Student Award and the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy Award. After graduation, she began working in acute care with orthopaedic and trauma patients, as well as in a clinic treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries. Carolina has continued her post-graduate training by completing Level 1 and 2 certifications in manual therapy. She remains committed to lifelong learning and professional development to continually enhance her skills and clinical knowledge. Her practice philosophy centers on empowering patients and improving their quality of life through active movement. Outside of work, Carolina enjoys spending time with her partner, hiking, running, working out, and coaching volleyball.
