Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic bodywork technique designed to support the body’s natural lymphatic system. Using light pressure and intentional movements, this session encourages lymph flow, supports fluid balance, and helps create a deep state of relaxation within the nervous system. This work may be supportive for those experiencing swelling, inflammation, stress, fatigue, a feeling of heaviness in the body, post-exercise recovery needs, or those simply wanting a slower, restorative approach to bodywork. Unlike traditional massage, lymphatic drainage does not use deep pressure. The lymphatic vessels sit close to the surface of the skin, so this technique uses soft, repetitive movements that encourage the body’s natural processes while allowing space for deep rest and regulation. Each session is customized to your body and may include full-body lymphatic support, focused areas of concern, and grounding techniques to help you leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected. **Please note:** Lymphatic drainage may not be appropriate for everyone. Certain conditions such as active infections, untreated heart conditions, blood clots, or other medical concerns may require clearance before receiving this service.
