Mike graduated from the University of British Columbia with his Masters in Physical Therapy after receiving a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley. Mike believes physiotherapists should be educators and should empower patients to become leaders in their own health journey His areas of interest include total hip/knee replacement, neck pain, plantar fasciitis, tendinopathies, lower back injuries, and hip/knee dysfunction/pain. Mike loves using hands on techniques and evidence-based exercises to help you reach your goals as quickly as possible. Mike has been heavily involved in sports, both as a coach and a player throughout his life. Being active and participating in team sports is such a great way to build character and live a healthy life. When Mike is not treating patients, he can be found spending time with his family who is the reason why he does what he does. Mike enjoys time outside, including hikes, snowshoeing, and exploring beautiful BC. Mike is always open to any hiking trail recommendations! Mike continues to expand his knowledge base by participating in continued education, including shoulder pathology, IMS, and various manual therapy techniques.
