What can I do for you? Are you dealing with chronic pain or stiffness, difficulty moving, or a lingering issue that hasn’t responded to treatment? If you’re feeling stuck, I’m here to help. My approach to physiotherapy is holistic and centred on the whole body. While we’ll address your immediate concern, we’ll also look deeper to identify and treat potential root causes. The goal is not only to help you return to optimal function, but to reduce the risk of future issues through education and targeted exercise. During our sessions, I take the time to understand your current concerns as well as relevant past history. From there, I complete a thorough assessment of your movement and the affected areas. Treatment may include hands-on manual therapy to reduce muscle tension, improve joint mobility, and restore function, along with electrotherapy when appropriate. I strongly believe that education is empowering. Together, we’ll develop a personalized self-management and exercise plan tailored specifically to your needs and goals. In short, we work as a team to help you move and feel better. How else can I help? I have a particular passion for cancer rehabilitation and supporting individuals through and beyond their cancer journey. If you are a cancer survivor, I can help manage long-term effects such as lymphedema and cancer-related fatigue. I am also a trauma-informed physiotherapist and recognize that past experiences can influence how the body presents with pain and dysfunction. I aim to provide care that is respectful, supportive, and individualized. Additionally, I work with individuals experiencing complex and chronic conditions, including CRPS, neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis, and other persistent pain conditions. My approach may incorporate a variety of treatment techniques, including electrotherapeutic modalities such as laser therapy, with the goal of improving your overall quality of life. A little more about me I was born in Mumbai, India, and spent many years living in Grande Prairie, Alberta before settling in the beautiful Cowichan Valley with my partner and our rescue cats. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy hiking local trails and planning new adventures. I’m also passionate about music and spend time recording songs in my home studio. I also enjoy pyrography as a creative outlet. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you in your recovery.
