Vanessa has a Master’s in Physical Therapy and is a holistically focused physiotherapist with her undergraduate degree and 10 years of experience in Nutritional Medicine. Vanessa works predominantly with clients with geriatric, post-operative, and post-workplace injury-based rehabilitation. She specializes in client-centric active rehabilitation strategies and aims to give clients the tools to optimize their individual health and maximize their abilities. She has further training in The McKenzie Method, and Maitland Manual therapy, and has her post-graduate designation as a Persistent Pain Physiotherapist from the European Pain Federation. Vanessa is completing her PhD in Clinical Exercise Science at The University of Potsdam in Germany. She has also presented research at the World Physiotherapy Congress 2021 and lectured via the TALK series from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and at the Society of Alberta Occupational Therapists Congress on persistent pain management.
