Shaun Lauzon went to Western University where he completed his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy as well as his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Shaun grew up in Peterborough where he first discovered his passion for athletics and exercise science. He enjoys playing most sports but particularly likes football, soccer, basketball and just about anything involving a racket. He found his inspiration to become a physiotherapist during his time participating on Western University’s varsity football team and playing high level soccer in the Ontario Soccer League. He experienced first-hand the impact that physiotherapy can have on individuals and their communities when it comes to improving physical and mental health. Although his passion for physiotherapy stems from high level athletics, Shaun is knowledgeable treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions across all age groups. Such conditions include but are not limited to acute injuries, chronic conditions, pre- and post-operative procedures, and has a keen interest in concussion rehabilitation. Shaun’s treatment focusses on reducing pain, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, education and maximizing function. He is excited to work with you to create a personalized treatment program that meets your goals and helps you get back to the activities that are most meaningful to you!
