Dr. Harold S. Meinzer was born and raised in temperate Winnipeg, Manitoba where the mosquitoes are large and the winters are cold. He attended the University of Manitoba for 4 years and with the encouragement of both his older brother Dr.Fred K. Meinzer and family Chiropractor decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic. After completing another 4 years of study he graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta Georgia and arrived in beautiful B.C. He began private practice with his older brother Dr. Fred K Meinzer in Aldergrove, and decided in late 1999 to open an office in Walnut Grove. Dr. Harold is currently studying and practicing Myofascial Release techniques which relate to repetitive strain injuries such as Carpal Tunnel syndrome, tennis & golfers elbow, and frozen shoulder. He has integrated the use of low and high level laser therapy into his clinics to decrease pain, inflammation and accelerate tissue healing. Dr. Harold has always been interested and active in sports, playing competitive soccer at both the Provincial select and U.S.A State select levels. Having a well rounded sports background gives Dr. Harold insight into the world of sports injuries and their treatment. Dr. Harold now stays active by snowboarding, rollerblading, windsurfing, playing hockey and the occasional travel adventure. He continues to study and attend seminars on a variety of topics to better serve his patients. His goal has been to create a Wellness Centre where practitioners share the common goal of treating and preventing musculoskeletal problems.
