Mairi is a physiotherapist with the Human Performance Centre, where she takes a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to care. She graduated from Dalhousie University in 2017 and has spent the majority of her career working in private practice. Passionate about ongoing education, Mairi has completed advanced training in the McKenzie Method (Level D), Fundamentals of Running Injuries, and Mulligan Manual Therapy for the upper quadrant. She believes effective treatment starts with understanding and prioritizes patient education, hands-on manual therapy, and functional, realistic exercise programs that translate directly to everyday life. Mairi has a special interest in treating shoulder conditions, and running-related injuries, helping patients return to movement and the activities they enjoy with confidence. Outside of the clinic, Mairi stays active through running, yoga, and resistance training. She also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, a great cup of coffee, and getting lost in a good book.
