She has also earned certification in Lymphedema Management (MLD/CDT) from the Dr. Vodder Academy/School - International. MLD offers a wide range of therapeutic applications for individuals with a functional lymph vessel system. It can assist in treating conditions such as edema, whiplash, burns, migraines, tinnitus, stroke, various joint injuries, pathologies and chronic pain. As part of Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) - which includes MLD, compression therapy, edema exercises and skin care - Joette provides effective treatment options for lymphedema, lipedema, chronic venous insufficiency edema and head and neck edema. Joette is dedicated to providing personalized care tailored to each client’s unique health journey, supporting them in moving towards their wellness goals. She has a special passion for introducing children and youth to the benefits of massage therapy, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and at ease during their massage treatments.
