Hi, my name is Traci aka Trace, I am the owner and operator of Trace's Massage Therapy LLC. I received my diploma from Dayton School of Medical Massage in May 2011 and my license from the State Medical Board of Ohio in July 2011. I have been an AMTA member since 2011 ,certified in pregnancy massage since 2013 and certified by The Barefoot Masters in 2021 for Ashiatsu Massage or commonly known as the massage where the therapist uses their feet. I have worked in pain clinics, spas, resorts, chiropractic offices and massage clinics. Currently, I am the owner/manager at Trace's Massage Therapy LLC located at 130 Wenger Rd in Englewood Ohio. I started TMT in January of 2013 with one goal in mind to help people regain their quality of life with pain management through therapeutic massage. I got into massage by accident. As a State Tested Nurse Aide, I injured my back due to lifting patients at 19. Doctors did not want to help me because I was so young. I ended up in Physical Therapy where massage therapy helped tremendously heal my back injury. With regular massage and exercise, I no longer needed pain medicine or surgery. I felt I could help people more with massage therapy than I ever could as a nurse aide or nurse. At 20 years old I enrolled into Dayton School of Medical Massage and a year later received my diploma and license. I still have pain in my back from time to time but with stretching, exercise, and monthly massage I control the pain, am doctor free and med free. I treat an array of conditions. I specialize in therapeutic massage or often called medical massage treating conditions such as: rotator cuff tears, shin splints, muscle strains from injury, joint sprains from injury, scar tissue from old and recent injuries, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches/ migraines, sinus problems, fibromyalgia, arthritis, stress, anxiety, stiff muscles, pain from endometriosis, pregnancy, infertility and thats just a few. I specialize in therapeutic and or medical massage and deep tissue massage. Other modalities include relaxation or Swedish massage, Pregnancy or Prenatal massage, fertility massage, sports massage, hot and cold therapies, PNF/AIS stretching, aromatherapy, reflexology, Thai massage, and Thai yoga massage. Lastly, I have 16 CEs in Ashiatsu or foot massage, Thai massage, and Thai yoga massage. TMTs main goal is to help restore the quality of life to individuals through pain management and wellness. We have a 68-week (about 2 months) program to get you back to feeling your best, so you can get back to living your life.
Massage Therapy
Therapeutic or medical and deep tissue massage are very similar. It zones in on the deeper underlying tissues to help treat a specific condition or injury. This can be a localized massage or a full body massage. It treats several conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, strained muscles, rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, shin splints, fibromyalgia, scar tissue, Sciatica, herniated discs, RA, migraines, neck pain, back pain and arthritis just to name a few.
Reflexology
Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth ancient Chinese philosophy that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, asthma, COPD, depression and plantar fasciitis.
