Michelle graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, with her Bachelors in Physiotherapy. Over the years, she has been responsible for various levels of service delivery to a wide range of stakeholders within the public and private health care sectors. Michelle has a unique ability to connect with clients and stakeholders alike which has allowed her to physically and mentally prepare clientele with various orthopaedic, neurological and persistent pain related disorders for a successful return to work and/or a return to their normal daily activities. This is done through listening to people’s stories, gathering all the information available, identifying potential gaps, placing adequate weight on all the influencing factors and then mapping out a well-defined action plan, inclusive of each parties’ responsibility and accountability towards successful outcomes. It is Michelle’s passion to empower and facilitate clients in their recovery process, while minimizing disability, through a function-based assessment and well-defined treatment process considering each person as a whole. Outside of work, Michelle values the time spent with her young family and the numerous outdoor activities BC has to offer. Michelle is currently not accepting ICBC clients
