Amish Patel is a Registered Physiotherapist and has been an experienced leader in the health care industry for over a decade. Amish completed his undergraduate Bachelors degree at McMaster University graduating with Honours. He was awarded with the Valedictorian distinction for his faculty, and addressed a class of over 2000 graduates during his convocation. Amish then completed his Masters degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. He has since completed various physiotherapy post-graduate courses and seminars specifically related to rehabilitation therapy. Amish has practiced in many GTA-based clinical settings for over a decade, and has effectively treated a variety of orthopaedic injuries and conditions. While working in these settings, Amish has been part of leadership teams, and conducted several mentorship and training seminars for his staff along the way. As a mentor to other healthcare practitioners, Amish emphasizes that, “we aren’t just treating injuries, we are treating people.” As a result of his compassion, Amish has been humbled in his career to have been recognized by third party award organizations for his outstanding work with his patients. Amish was recently a health care leader for a Canadian national rehabilitation company, as he had the pleasure of the operational oversight of multiple clinics simultaneously, as well as, heading company-wide initiatives centred around client satisfactory excellence. Amish prides himself on modelling a work-life balance as he is an active member of his community, enjoys recreational activities, supports various charity events, and prioritizes spending time with his family.
