William Fortune is a recent graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy program in Victoria BC. Currently completing board examination registration this fall. During his schooling, William gained experience in many different varieties of clinical settings, including intern massage clinics, sports outreaches, and working with adults that had developmental disabilities. Some of William’s most memorable outreach opportunities included working with elite athletes such as the Canada Men’s Rugby National Team and Pacific Football Club. These experiences deepened his appreciation for performance-focused care and collaborative treatment planning. William takes an evidence-based approach to treatment integrating current research and emerging clinical developments to support each client’s goals. William uses many different treatment modalities, such as Swedish massage, myofascial techniques and trigger point pressure release therapy to create personalized, effective treatment plans. Outside the clinic, William is passionate about movement and wellness. He enjoys strength training at the gym and playing sports like volleyball, soccer, and basketball. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, he also finds balance in nature through hiking and exploring the outdoors.
