Monika completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2007 and Master of Physiotherapy- Neurology in 2010 from India. Monika has over 14 years of work experience as a Physiotherapist and has worked in different settings such as Hospitals, International NGO, Private clinics in both India and Canada. She is in good standing with the College of Physiotherapy of British Columbia. Monika is a believer in an evidence-based approach to treatment, and enjoys working collaboratively with clients to create treatment plans that will help them to realize their rehabilitation or performance goals. She has great participation in research in Physiotherapy and published 15 National & International journals in Physiotherapy. She emphasizes an active approach to treatment using injury specific exercises, but also utilizes intramuscular stimulation, manual therapy, and education to facilitate improvements in movement and function.
