Renée received her Doctor of Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, CA. With a focus in orthopedic acupuncture, she is also specialized in natural facial rejuvenation, using microneedling and cosmetic facial acupuncture. She is trained in the Toma microneedling and Acuglow system, and also the Acumicro technique with Josh Nerenburg, L.Ac. She is extremely impressed with the results that can be done in a prescribed series of treatments, with these non-invasive and safe techniques. Not only for a better appearance, but for hairloss, scarring, and the effects of sun damage. Her journey into orthopedics began with a personal knee injury that led to chronic pain, giving her a deep understanding of her patients' discomfort and frustration. Renée is dedicated to providing comprehensive orthopedic acupuncture care by empowering her patients through education on how to best manage their condition. Renée has had the privilege of studying under renowned practitioners Dr. Uzi Chen, Ryan Lee, and Melinda Williams. Her education was further enriched by the teachings of Matt Callison of Acupuncture Sports Medicine. She honed her skills in cupping, motor point acupuncture, and postural alignment at the renowned clinic Acusport Health Center in Ocean Beach, CA under the tutelage of Yael Benporat and Aquilino Soriano. Renée specializes in these techniques and enjoys integrating them to optimize patient outcomes. She believes in a holistic approach that emphasizes the body's innate organizational intelligence and regenerative resilience. Originally from Massachusetts, Renée began her career in Art Conservation and Restoration, holding an undergraduate degree in Art History and Chemistry. She appreciates the intersection of art and science, finding a powerful connection between the intricate workings of the human body and the beauty of nature. She finds that Chinese Medicine is a beautiful and elegant expression of this connection. Renée is a firm believer in the human body’s organizational intelligence and regenerative resilience. She considers acupuncture and Chinese medicine as remarkable tools to support each individual's healing and overall well-being
