Mairi Greig is a dedicated physiotherapist with a unique background that bridges the worlds of movement, performance, and rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Dance from York University in 2017 before completing her Master of Physical Therapy at Western University in 2023. Committed to lifelong learning and evidence-based practice, Mairi has pursued advanced training in concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, acupuncture, and dry needling. She is also a Pilates Process–certified instructor in Mat, Reformer, and Cadillac Pilates, incorporating these specialized movement principles into her physiotherapy treatment approach. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Mairi enjoyed a successful career as a professional contemporary dancer, performing with some of Canada’s leading modern dance artists and companies. Her firsthand experience with the physical demands of high-level athletic and artistic performance provides valuable insight into injury prevention, recovery, and performance optimization. Originally from Penticton, British Columbia, in the South Okanagan Valley, Mairi developed a lifelong appreciation for outdoor adventure and an active lifestyle. Outside the clinic, she enjoys CrossFit, running with her beloved dog Velma, cross-country skiing, and canoe tripping in Algonquin Park. She also finds joy in gardening and spends many evenings working on sewing projects.
