With a strong foundation in movement science and a passion for helping others recover from injuries, Samantha brings a client-centered and evidence-based approach to her treatments. Samantha’s experiences with injuries from competitive dancing and soccer inspired a deep interest in rehabilitation, leading her to pursue a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Kinesiology from Western University, followed by an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy from Georgian College. Eager to continue learning, Samantha completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and teaches yoga out of a desire to help others better understand movement. While at Western University, Samantha worked closely with varsity athletes, particularly the Women’s Volleyball team and their injuries. After graduating, she joined FC London’s League 1 Men’s Soccer Team, supporting players through injuries and contributing to their rehabilitation in collaboration with the medical team. Samantha is also a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher who integrates her anatomical knowledge and experience with injury rehabilitation as a Registered Massage Therapist into her yoga classes to help individuals benefit from intentional movement and mindfulness. After her dance career, she continued practicing yoga and eventually pursued her teaching certification to be able to share its benefits with others. Samantha creates classes that focus on safe alignment, functional mobility, strength development, and intentional mindfulness in a way that empowers individuals to work towards their physical and mental health goals. Her teaching style emphasizes education about safe movement patterns while offering accessible options and modifications to support everyone. When she’s not in the clinic, you can find Samantha hiking, canoeing, snowboarding, or cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays!
