Gavin is a qualified Athletic Therapist, having graduated from Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Athlone with a degree in Athletic and Rehabilitation Therapy. He is currently completing the final year of his MSc in Pre-Registration Physiotherapy, where he continues to develop his knowledge and clinical skills. As a competitive distance runner competing at a high level in Ireland, he has a strong understanding of the physical demands of sport and a particular interest in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of running-related injuries. Alongside this, he enjoys working with individuals of all activity levels, from the general population to competitive athletes, helping them return to the activities that matter most to them. His experience includes providing pitch-side medical cover for a variety of sports teams, working with elite runners, and delivering exercise-based rehabilitation to individuals with a range of medical and neurological conditions. He has experience leading exercise classes in nursing homes and community settings, as well as providing one-to-one home- based rehabilitation. Gavin is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, with a focus on creating personalised plans that help every patient achieve their goals.
