Mariko is available at the HAMILTON location MEET Mariko Mariko’s passion for sports and rehabilitation led her to completing a B.Sc in Kinesiology at SFU. She proudly used her skills to dedicate her time toward helping others regain strength and mobility after injury. Driven to deepen her expertise, she moved to Sydney, Australia where she completed her Master’s of Physiotherapy and gained valuable experience working as a physiotherapist. Since moving back to Vancouver in July 2025, she has been preparing to write the Canadian Physiotherapy board exams which upon successful completion will allow her to register and practice as a physiotherapist. At present, she continues to work as a kinesiologist combining her knowledge and experience from both fields to provide the best care for others. She believes that communication and collaboration are the pillars of excellent rehabilitation and strives to make the best decisions for everyone in her care. Outside of work, you can find Mariko re-exploring the city she grew up in, kicking around a soccer ball with friends, relaxing at the piano, reading a book, spending quality time with her family and re-adjusting to the Vancouver rain.
