Helen Husak is a registered Massage Therapist, and certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. Her pursuit for knowledge and a diverse therapeutic skillset has also led her to specialize in Lymphatic Drainage, studying the techniques of both Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Level 1 and 2) as well Chikly Lymphatic Drainage (Level 1, 2 and 3). Other helpful techniques that Helen integrates into her practice include Dynamic Cupping, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Release. Her therapeutic sessions often involve a fluid integration of these advanced techniques, with the ultimate goal of pain and tension relief, and restorative relaxation. She is interested in addressing the root cause of soft- tissue dysfunction, and cater to the unique goals of each client. Helen is constantly in awe of the body and its innate intelligence and healing abilities. She is passionate about being a conduit for her client’s self-healing. Part of that process is empowering clients to hone their body awareness and attune to their inner and outer resources, flexibility and strength for pain- free/ easeful movement. “Prior to my transition into the healthcare industry as an RMT, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance / Kinesiology, and worked as a professional contemporary dancer, choreographer and movement educator for over 20 years. I developed a diverse skill-set in my dance profession with training in various dance styles, yoga and somatic movement modalities, which have all influenced the way that I listen understand and attune to the body, mind, and spirit”.
