Patrick (or Pat—he answers to both!) brings over 20 years of experience as a physical therapist and healthcare educator to O’Brien Physical Therapy & Wellness. He holds a PhD in Neuromotor Control from UW–Madison and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Marquette University. A lifelong learner and educator, he’s trained thousands of future clinicians, published research in orthopedics and sports rehab, and helped secure nearly $2 million in research grants. Patrick’s clinical career has taken him to elite orthopedic clinics in Vail, Madison, and now La Crosse, where he’s cared for everyone from high-level athletes to everyday people working toward recovery and strength.

This session will include a brief overview of your past medical history, evaluation of your current problem and treatment. Sports Evaluation: Choose this appointment if you are looking for guidance on running gait and/or running shoe analysis or a bike analysis to make sure you get the most out of every workout. Other sports specific options available.
