After graduating high school, Katie started studying at Alberta Institute Of Massage. In her first year of study, she got recognized for top marks in her class, alongside directors honours. She loves spending time in the community; she is driven by a deep compassion to help others, which led her into this career. Katie is patient, and pays attention to little details. Whether it’s a relaxation massage, to take the weight off your shoulders, or a more specific approach; Katie’s goal is to make your day brighter, and a little bit easier. After graduating second year, she hopes to specialize in working with the elderly, and prenatal/postpartum care. Outside of the clinic, you can usually find her at the gym, figure skating, volunteering, or in a library; studying to advance her skills for your best care.
Our student massage therapists have completed their first year of schooling and are currently training in their second year. ** Please note: Insurance benefits plans do no cover student massages. A student massage is a full body massage that can also target specific areas of tension, pain or dysfunction that you may be experiencing.
