Sanaz graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She is fully certified as a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist. She also has completed training in Functional Range Conditioning ( FRC). She is also certified in treating and assessing running injuries as well as gait analysis. Sanaz also has certification in Acupuncture and Dry needling. Her passion in rehabilitation comes from wanting to help others get back to normal life in terms of physical function through her own experiences with needing physiotherapy growing up. Sanaz uses a patient- centered holistic approach that is individualized to each patient based on their history and assessments. Sanaz values open, honest communication with her patients and makes patients actively collaborate within their treatment sessions. Treatments include education, exercise prescription, soft tissue work, manual therapy, exercise, acupuncture/dry needling, and lifestyle modification. Sanaz believes that learning never stops, and will continue her clinical education in vestibular physiotherapy. In her spare time, you can find her participating in fitness classes, spending time with family and friends, travelling and trying restaurants in Downtown as she is an avid foodie.
