Sandy is a registered Acupuncturist and Tuina Therapist. She completed the Acupuncture Program at Vancouver Career College in Burnaby and she completed her certification in Tuina therapy, cupping, moxibustion and guasha with the International College of TCM (ICTCM) (now known as the Tzu Chi International College of TCM). She is also a certified Master of Medical Qigong Therapy and Medical Qigong Doctor candidate through the International Institute of Medical Qigong and Empty Mountain Institute where she has also completed numerous light body, channeling and mediumship courses. Sandy is also an ordained Daoist Priest, 82nd generation highest purity sect and 66th generation celestial masters sect, a disciple of dragon heart temple. Sandy uses acupuncture to address numerous ailments and is able to combine acupuncture with medical qigong energy, fire cupping, tuina, moxibustion, and guasha to assist people. Sandy uses a holistic approach to diagnose and treatment principles depend on the conditions and circumstances presented and can treat utilizing TCM zang fu theory methods and principles or using a Dr. Tan’s balance method approach (BSA or Balanced System Acupuncture) in which case she is currently certified to Level 2 in Balanced System Acupuncture. She offers Medical Qigong Energetic Therapy treatments which is a form of TCM utilizing acupuncture points and meridians without physical needles, Medical Qigong Talk Therapy such as soul retrieval and past life regression, TCM dietary therapy, Medical Qigong Exercises and Meditations which help to support treatments, and end of life support, channeling and mediumship.
Initial Qigong This appointment includes a full intake and assessment followed by a customized Medical Qigong treatment based on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and Dr. Tan–inspired balancing strategies. Treatment emphasizes system-wide regulation rather than working directly on symptomatic areas and may include external qi regulation and gentle hand placements. The service is non-invasive and performed fully clothed.
