Andrea graduated from McMaster University in Physical Education and Health then went on to graduate from the University Of Toronto in Physical Therapy. Throughout her career Andrea has focused on orthopaedics and sports, successfully completing her Part A’s and Level 5 in Manual Therapy in the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA. She has continued to expand her knowledge and skills with other soft tissue and manual courses including McKenzie (A,B), Movement System Impairment Syndromes by Shirley Sahrmann, Acupuncture (Part A,B), Mulligan Concepts, Soft Tissue Release for a few. She is also embarking on Craniosacral Therapy having completed one course in Cranial Osteopathy by Fred Mitchell. Andrea has a strong interest in the diagnosis and treatment of the fascial system dysfunction having taken extensive courses in Myofascial Release in Arizona through John. F. Barnes. She plans further courses in this program focussing on Woman’s Issues. As an avid athlete herself, she was on the varsity gymnastics team (McMaster) then upon graduating focused on Medical Representation with various teams and events (Gymnastic Club, Minor Hockey, Premier Soccer, Skate Canada, Summer Games). Andrea presently continues to be active racing in the Ontario and Quebec Mountain Bike Series. She also runs, cross country skis, golfs and hikes.
