As a dual-licensed practitioner in both acupuncture (LAc) and massage therapy (LMT), Everett is passionate about pain management and holistic healing. Having worked as a licensed massage therapist for nearly a decade, he has gained extensive knowledge of the human body and experience in pain relief. He integrates both biomedical models of Anatomy and Physiology and Traditional Chinese Medicine into his acupuncture treatments, allowing him to carefully individualize each treatment. Everett has developed expertise in treating a variety of conditions, including anxiety, insomnia, fertility challenges, and complex disease presentations such as long COVID having worked at multiple clinics such as Wthn and Grand Central Pain Relief. Before working at these private clinics, Everett served as a senior intern and as a tutor to acupuncture students at Pacific College of Health and Science Clinic. Everett received his Masters of Science of Traditional Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. On top of the two degrees in Acupuncture and Massage, Everett earned a certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine and is certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage through the Klose Training Center. Previous to entering his journey in the Healing Arts, Everett studied Comparative Literature at Hampshire College. When not practicing Acupuncture or Massage Therapy, Everett enjoys rock climbing and jogging through Prospect Park.

Acupuncture
This is an INITIAL APPOINTMENT. This means that this is your FIRST VISIT to Open Care Community. Your acupuncturist will go over your intake form, ask and answer questions, and provide your first treatment. Initial appointments on our sliding scale is between $65 - $105.
