Through massage therapy, my goal is to help people rehabilitate as well as manage their pain to allow them to live an active lifestyle. The main modalities I use in my practice to facilitate pain free movement are Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), deep tissue massage, and pin and stretch techniques along with traditional Swedish massage. My first exposure to massage therapy was through the athletic trainer on the Kamloops Blazers who was trained as a massage therapist. He helped me work through and return to play after a few injuries during my time in the WHL. After junior hockey I went to school studying kinesiology. During my time at school my wife had been to see a massage therapist after several car accidents and after speaking to him and seeing how much knowledge he had about the human body and how much he helped her improve I knew I wanted to become an RMT. I switched out of kinesiology to OVCMT and am now registered with CMTBC. In my spare time I enjoy cycling and paddle boarding in the summer and in the winter I continue to play hockey. You can also find me hiking with my French Bulldog Enzo year round.
